URGENTLY NEEDED! Front-end Developer

ABOUT THIS JOB:
We are currently seeking an experienced and multi-talented Front-End Developer who will assist us in our various big-ticket projects.

• Opticare website redesign - Upgrade to see actual info
• Ocelot+ - an upcoming cloud-based practice management solution. Upgrade to see actual info/software/ocelot

These are 3 projects that are currently progressing and while you will be focusing on a main one, you are expected to be involved in the other 2 remaining projects as well. This means you should have a high level of organisation and time management skills, is laser-focused, a multi-tasker, has high attention to detail, and is able to collaborate well with a cross-functional team.

Working hours are flexible but we do require the successful candidate to:
• Render hours anytime between 9 AM to 6 PM Mondays, AEST.
• Attend the weekly team meeting every Thursday, 3 PM, AEST.

Your main role is the translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will closely work with our Graphics Designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how our websites/applications look as well as how they work.


ROLES &RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement front-end web code and design standards.
• Write clean, semantic code.
• Create and optimise our web project management, hitting all deadlines and improving efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality web development.
• Proactively scope and present new ideas to improve our website experience for prospects, leads, and customers.
• Wireframe and mockup revamped or brand-new site pages of our clients and present to senior management.
• All other tasks assigned by management especially of the IT Manager and Director/s.


REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Expertise in Laravel and Vue, a must.
• Deep expertise when it comes to WordPress.
• Hands-on experience with other web applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and APIs.
• Have worked on a REST api before, particularly Django rest framework.
• AngularJS is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practice and processes.
• Familiarity with digital marketing particularly social media, email marketing, sales along with the tools used to help manage it like Hootsuite, Buffer, Sendible, MailChimp, Survey Monkey, Campaign Monitor, G Suite, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, SendinBlue, JotForm, Instapage, FreshSales, Shopify, etc.
• Available until the end of February 2021.
• Will pass our screening test.


*This job role is fully remote.
*Open to all PH-based developers.
*The test includes four mini coding challenges and three open-ended questions and will take place on our coding test Upgrade to see actual info will require 2.5 hours of your time. If you finish the test, you will be paid PHP1,000. If you pass the test, you advance to the next step of the screening process which is an interview with us. Thank you.
