Aluminum Fabricator w/ Glazing Experience

Job Description:

We are looking for Aluminum Fabricator with Glazing Experience; to cut, fabricate aluminum and install glass to produce single glazed panel.

The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail, knowledge handling glass and glazing. Also skilled in fabrication technique, tools and equipment.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read drawings to fully understand the design
• Fabricate aluminum extrusions to produce the framework for the glass
• Assemble aluminum extrusions to the glass, to have single glazed panel
• Inspect glass quality based on sales requirement
• Inspect places to get measurements.
• Recommends and conduct repairs or maintenance

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as aluminum fabricator
• Hands-on experience with glazing
• Excellent understanding of fabrication techniques and methods of glazing
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, drill, rulers etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Physically and mentally fit to work
• High school diploma
• Experience in driving forklift (min of 1year) or with forklift license is an advantage but not required
