EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Job Description:

Purpose: To aid in the expansion, and growth of our online business

Intro:

We are looking for a versatile Superstar Employee to join us long term and help us run our online business.
The business is based on Shopify so you will need to be confident learning to use the software, the main focus in copywriting, content creation, reaching out to retail stores/influencers, dealing with customers, do detailed shipping and inventory management, light bookkeeping, tracking daily sales & marketing metrics, engage users/Upgrade to see actual info on Instagram and Facebook. We can train you on all of these tasks.
We were looking to hire someone part-time starting at $3 USD per hour or $250/month.

About us:

We are a company that has been selling in retail for 6 years and Shopify for just under 2 years where our main focus will be on expanding our eCommerce sales. We pride ourselves on selling high quality tea and Asian goods and offering great customer service. Until now, we have only been hiring locally but are looking to expand remotely. We are completely remote and operate independently, so regular check-ins and progress updates are required. Getting good work done on time is more important than logging hours.

About you:

If your task is to create a Google spreadsheet with 3 columns, but you’ve never used Google spreadsheets before - a Superstar won't email back and say they don't know how to use Google spreadsheets. You would GOOGLE it. You Google search how to do it and then you complete the task. If you can GOOGLE things and understand how to do things without emailing me back for details then you’re a SUPERSTAR and we want you on our team!
Formal education is NOT important to us, meaning we don’t care about which school/college you are from or if you even graduated. But we DO expect you to be proficient in using your computer and the internet. A Superstar Employee can confidently complete a new task, even without prior knowledge of how to do it. They do this by using Google like a NINJA.

Experience with e-commerce, market research, customer service, and spreadsheets is helpful but not essential.

There are 5 challenges in total.

Here is your first challenge:

- Create a new Gmail account. The email should include the word "superstar". ( Examples of correct email addresses: Upgrade to see actual info Upgrade to see actual info Upgrade to see actual info )

- Create a Google Document from that account.

- Write a cover letter with reasons on why you’d be a superstar employee for the role we are advertising, stating any skills you have which we can benefit from.

- Share this document with Upgrade to see actual info

- Then also send an email at Upgrade to see actual info with the subject: I AM A SUPERSTAR

- In the body of the email mention your name, the link to the google doc, and a C.V. You should send the email from the Gmail account you just created.

- You will receive a reply within 72hr. If you succeeded you will receive the next challenge.

If you failed you will receive an email saying "Sorry, you failed.". If you receive that email it means you are out. This is challenge #1 of 5 total challenges.
