Although our Toronto headquarters only has a team that is 30 strong, we have approximately 70+ remote staff in Manila - the birthplace of our founders - Nicasio and Jerome. WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a full-time Keywords Specialist who will work within our content production team, that will be in charge of researching and analyzing various keywords for the purpose of article creation. You will be reporting directly to our head of content strategy who is based in Toronto.


BASIC REQUIREMENT:

2 to 3 years of experience in using professional SEO tools such as ahrefs, semrush, or majestic
Solid understanding of fundamental SEO principles
Ability to demonstrate mastery of spreadsheet (MS Excel) manipulation and data analysis
Superb attention to detail


YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM:

Use a variety of SEO tools to scout for keywords that are relevant to our projects (e.g. ahrefs, semrush, buzzsumo, etc)
Perform competitive analysis to uncover even more related keywords for our various projects
Utilize NiftyPM, our project management tool, to add and organize seed keywords for our writers
Stay in front of SEO trends, specifically relating to keyword research, and to apply them to our systems


NOT REQUIRED, BUT WOULD BE A GREAT ASSET:

Experience as a content writer would be a huge bonus
Working knowledge of technical SEO principles (on-page SEO)
Proven leadership skills to be able to lead a team in the future


WORK HOURS: Monday to Friday 9 AM-1 PM EST, with the remaining 4 hours of your shift flexible.
