JOB OVERVIEW

Company Overview:
Welcome to Legend Land, the world’s first Minecraft Therapy server. Legend Land is a private server that used to facilitate therapy for people in rural and remote communities with Autism. We have created a series of mini games that each teach a different therapeutic concept and have a great team that include a clinical psychologist that specialises in Autism and creative director, a java minigame developer and a programmer. This server is being successfully implemented and is in a constant development process.

Please provide:
- A response to the key responsibilities and minimum requirements.
- A link to an example of your Java programming on GITHUB or equivalent.

Key responsibility:
- Supporting the Java Minigame Developer in the development of the minigames.
- Integration of in game player data into worksheets.
- Checking game updates
- Attending a weekly team meeting Monday afternoons.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor of Information and Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 12 months commercial Java experience (learning not included).
• 6 months experience with Bukkit API / Spigot API / ETC.
• Age 18 or older.
• Able to sign an Non Disclosure Agreement & Contractor agreement.
• Able to provide a reference from a previous ---------- sirable Traits
• Understanding of Docker Images
• Ability to write high performance, quality java code which adheres to modern Java 8 conventions.
• Experience with net.minecraft.server.
• Experience with BungeeCord and Maven.
• Experience with HikariCP and connection pools.
• Real life/professional experience.
• Experience in developing minigames.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skill.
• Self-directed and takes initiative to drive progress
• Good attitude and willing to have fun.
