This Account Manager/Client Success Manager position is perfect for an experienced and passionate digital marketer who is seeking an opportunity to work side-by-side a team of experts making an impact for businesses all over the U.S..
The Account Manager/Client Success Manager plays a critical role in the Agile/Sprint process, acting as the vehicle between the client, the Project Manager and execution team. He/She will create and maintain well-defined visions to connect clients’ desired outcomes with the strategies and tactics the team deploys to achieve them.
This is done by:
- Leading client meetings
- Creating the vision and macro strategy based on those meetings
- Communicating that vision and strategy to the team
- Working with the Project Manager to make it happen
All of this is in the effort of increased client communication and transparency.
The Account Manager/Client Success Manager is responsible for client happiness and ultimately the success/failure of the account (outside of natural attrition). This means the role will additionally involve reducing friction in the customer experience and continually keeping Yokel Local operating as a flywheel business.
Responsibilities:
- Leads regular client meetings and communicates progress of marketing efforts and interprets reporting
- Manages the expectations of the client
- Facilitates client-team communication to keep all parties on the same page
- Knows the status of all accounts and takes the pulse each meeting to prevent attrition where possible
- Attends sprint planning meetings and daily scrums
- Develops buyer personas and plans long-term marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Project Manager
- Works with the Project Manager to manage and develop task backlog
- Works with the Project Manager to identify and rank priorities for the sprints
- Uses Client Care, HubSpot Service, and other vehicles of customer support to manage client happiness
- Develops initiatives to remove friction in our flywheel and customer experience, including NPS campaigns and more
- Lends a hand with sprints, marketing tasks and client tickets schedule allows
- Assists the Project Manager with initiatives to improve efficiencies for the marketing team and the company at large
- Identify up sell/cross sell opportunities when that will bring the client more value
Required Skills:
- An understanding of buyer personas and the ability to build one with client feedback
- An understanding of how all digital marketing pieces work together
- The ability to develop long-term marketing plans and strategy
- The ability to analyze and diagnose opportunities for improvement
- Have the ability to communicate well with the clients and with the heads of different experts (SEO, content, branding, CRM, etc)
- Ability to troubleshoot and explain client issues as well as come up with strategies for solutions
- Superior communication skills via phone,
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking skills and an innate desire to independently problem solve
- Leadership acumen to drive client meetings and pitch the best marketing strategies/solutions that will both get buy-in from the client and results
Preferred Skills:
- BA/BS or equivalent working experience
- 3+ years experience in digital marketing tools including content management systems (CMS),
- 1+ years of experience and proficiency in the HubSpot Marketing, Sales and Service hubs
