Graphic Designer - Educational Graphics

Mometrix is an educational publisher located in Southeast Texas. We produce materials for students in a variety of learning areas. Our catalog is very broad and consists of both physical and digital learning resources. Test preparation is our main focus, and we do our best to prepare our customers for the certification or degree they need to obtain their dream job.

Job Description:
We also have images that need to be re-created, the image or text quality is subpar and we need someone to update those images. We are looking for a graphic designer to create educational images that will go inside our study guides and on our online ---------- ing Adobe Illustrator you will create images for many different educational areas. We have both physical and digital learning resources and we will need the images to be in grayscale with some exceptions needing color.

We have a semi-regular flow of images that will need to be made or redone. Opportunity for ongoing work provided we like the images you create. Work will be done in varying batch sizes from 10-100 images.

Please include any image work you would like to showcase in your application. If you have an online portfolio please link that as well.

You will be asked to:
Create or redo educational images on a variety of topics
Use Adobe Illustrator and sometime Photoshop
Send images in multiple formats including Ai file
Create images in grayscale unless stated otherwise

Required Experience:
At least 2 years in a graphic design or image creation role
Excellent with Adobe Illustrator
Familiar with Adobe Photoshop
Creative and detail oriented

Preferred Experience:
Ability to create medical related images
