SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

Requirements

- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field

- 5+ years’ experience working with Java 1.7 / 1.8 programming language or higher

- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms. Multi-threading, collections, JVM, Garbage collection, lambda.

- Strong experience with the Spring framework (Preferably Spring Boot) and microservices are highly preferred.

- Knowledge of SQL and experience with Postgres or other equivalent RDBMS.

- Working knowledge of relational databases and OR mapping frameworks like hibernate.

- Comfort in relational database modelling and querying.

- Experience utilizing JUnit or other testing frameworks

- Experience working with Docker Containers and relevant container orchestration systems: Kubernetes

- Experience with continuous integration development environment

- Prior experience with Microservices, Postgres database, Unix/Linux, Maven and Git, is a PLUS

- Experience/knowledge with standard machine learning techniques, big data technologies such as Spark, Linux/Unix scripting skills, RabbitMQ (Kafka or any message broker) as well hands-on with containerization (Docker) is a PLUS
