Approval Specialist - Loan Processor $$ Loan Officer

The Approval Specialist or Jr Loan Processor $$$$ :)

Work directly with the Loan Manager to ensure that all documents needed for processing have been requested and received. This position requires frequent communication with the Loan Officer, Loan Partner, Loan Manager/Processor and Borrower

Essential Duties of the Position:
• Verify loan file is complete, and Loan Officer has provided completed checklist and CCI, accompanying disclosures, documents, needs list, anticipated or confirmed program/investor, and etc.
• Return any incomplete loans back to Loan ---------- nd e-mail with list of missing items for completion to Loan Officer and Branch Manager.
• Order appraisals, preliminaries, flood, verifications, and all other validations required by the loan officer.
• Assist Loan Manager with follow up for items requested.
• Contacting Borrowers to request documentation and conditions needed
• Perform all branch file cancellations per current Loan Cancellation Policy.
• Learn how to properly re-disclose a loan, as needed.
• Place detailed comments in the conversation log every time a file is handled.
• Experience:
• Finance, 1 year (Preferred)
• Loan Processing, 1 year (Preferred)
• Mortgage Servicing, 1 year (Preferred)

I am looking for someone who has good computer skills. Type 50-60 WPM, Understands the mortgage process. I prefer mortgage business experience but will train someone with a good background in accounting. I hope this message finds you well!
