PhP Wordpress Developer

We are looking to hire a talented PHP & Wordpress Developer to manage our back-end services, applications & websites and ensure a seamless interchange of data between the server and our users.

As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and coding all server-side logic. You will also be required to maintain all databases of our applications & websites, ensure up-time, API integrations and security risk mitigation.
As a Wordpress Developer, you will be responsible for frontend & backend development including but not limited to API integrations, custom scripts & plugins.

To ensure success as a PHP Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, understanding of MVC designs, and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3. You will also design and build efficient PHP modules while seamlessly integrating front-end technologies.

-- Responsibilities:

-Managing All Website/Development
-Using WordPress themes, create themes and plugins for clients using PHP, CSS, and Javascript.
-Work with a team to solve dynamic challenges with a good instinct for choosing tools that are appropriate for solving problems.
-Test, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing WordPress websites
-Improve existing sites for enhanced accessibility and compatibility, specifically with tools such as the Gutenberg editor
-Conducting analysis of website and application requirements.
-Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules.
-Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.
-Troubleshooting application and code issues.
-Integrating data storage solutions.
-Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.
-Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.
-Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.


-- Requirements:

A - Must Have:

-5+ years (preferred but minimum of 3+) of experience with all aspects of web development including PHP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and Bootstrap.
-Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
-Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
-Experience with the standard LAMP stack.
-Practical experience with Object-Oriented PHP (>= 5.3)
-Demonstrable experience writing, and debugging, queries in MySQL
-Practical understanding of content management systems
-Experience building Wordpress plugins
-Experience with MVC frameworks (Laravel is a plus)
-Experience with source control systems such as GIT
-Experience with SSH and Shell
-Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, AWS, 3rd Party SaaS, etc)
-Knowledge and experience with popular hosting services such as AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, Bluehost.
-Strong sense of ownership and pride in the products you build
-Ability to deliver quality work with a sense of urgency
-Ability and willingness to dive into code written by others to figure things out
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
-Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

B - Bonus Points:

-Node & MongoDB development experience
-Experience with Flutter (and/or Xamarin, React Native)
