JOB OVERVIEW

+++About the Role+++

As a SEO Analyst, you will be responsible for the research required to derive strategic insights for our clients as well as tracking and measuring results.

This position offers you the ability to learn SEO and digital marketing skills from senior members of the team, as well as work with leading Australian brands.

This role would suit someone who has 1 to 2 years experience in SEO.

+++Responsibilities+++

This role would include but not limited to:

- Identify SEO opportunities for clients
- Conduct in-depth technical audits on websites
- Comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities
- On-site optimisation (title tag, meta description optimisation, etc)
- SEO migration (url mapping, testing, etc)
- Monthly reporting and data analysis
- Writing SEO reports and recommendations
- Manage and track SEO campaign progress
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in search, analytics and technologies.

+++Qualifications & Experience+++

- Familiar with SEO tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics
- Self-motivation - you don’t need a lot of direction, and aren’t afraid to ask questions when you need to understand something better, but will try to figure out the answer on your own first
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Good time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working under pressure and tight deadline
- Ability to think creatively and logically to develop bespoke strategies for your clients in line with their business objectives through analysis of data and industry trends
- Keen willingness to learn and grow within the team
- Must have a stable internet connection
- Must be willing to work Australian business hours

+++Experience with the Following is a Bonus+++

- Data skills (analytics, reporting, Excel / Google Spreadsheets formulas): Important data skills for this role include analyzing data using pivot tables, using queries to find the data you are looking for quickly, and using formulas such as VLookup.
- Technical skills (an understanding of how the web and Google works). This means you have a good sense (even if only conceptually) of what happens when someone presses enter in their web browser from a technical perspective.
- Strong knowledge of on-page SEO elements.
