Wordpress Website Designer

An exciting opportunity to work for a start-up web design company. We are looking for a Wordpress web developer/graphic designer to join the ---------- itially, this individual will start by redesigning the company website (built on Wordpress) and designing all supporting company marketing collateral including logo, letterhead, email signatures etc.

Any applicants will need to be completely proficient and confident with creating and maintaining WordPress sites and skilled in graphic design e.g. creating logos, banners etc.

The goal is to build up our client base and create a range of Wordpress websites and e-commerce websites. A successful candidate could have the opportunity in leading a team and/or managing multiple sites in due course.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

*Must be able to set up, design, and improve WordPress websites on the basis of client instructions and design guidelines.
* A strong knowledge of WordPress plugins
* WordPress Theme Customization.
* WordPress Bug Fixing.
* WordPress Performance & Speed Optimization.
* Web Hosting Administration.
* Website Migration.
* WordPress Security.
* WordPress Maintenance (Hosting, Monitoring, Updating, Backup)
* Design responsive websites for all devices
* Correctly optimise images for the web
* Come up with new, creative ideas for websites
* SEO optimisation
* Sometimes virtual assistant tasks like technical research, social media marketing


Requirements:
- Must have your own working computer with a webcam
- Must have high-speed internet
- Must be willing to learn and take assignments
- Must perform some virtual assistant duties
- Must communicate through WhatsApp, ---------- or Skype
- Must perform well as a team
- Must meet deadlines 100% of the time
- Must be available at least 30-40 hours per week
