Local SEO & WordPress Expert

This role is specifically focused on SEO for local businesses. The primary focus will be getting local businesses ranked in the map pack to drive phone ---------- anic rankings are secondary but also important.

This is a full-time job. You must be able to work from 8am to 5pm US Eastern time Monday through Friday. Experience in the insurance, home services, and/or contractor/construction niches is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities
- Managing several local SEO campaigns
- Tracking progress and reporting results
- Writing and optimizing titles, tags, metas
- Completing & optimizing GMBs thoroughly
- Creating and implementing advanced Schema markup
- Setting up hosting accounts, installing Wordpress, installing WP plugins and themes
- Setting up, managing and interpreting Google Analytics
- Fixing Google Search Console errors
- Using common SEO tools (SERPStat, Ahrefs, Scrapebox, LocalViking, etc)
- Managing and scaling up effective link building strategies
- Auditing, cleaning up and building citations
- Writing powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors
- Editing and optimizing content and blog posts
- Create logos and basic graphics in Canva or similar tools
- Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors

A webcam and microphone will be needed to complete the application. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email with a couple of SEO related challenges.
