I'm amazed by how many designers fail to send me a portfolio immediately.

This lets me know how solid you are at design work and also if you are good at communication.

Here's the type of designs I'll need to be done on a regular basis:

- MAINLY: Artwork for printed wall canvases

- Typography design

- T-shirt design

- Illustrations for physical product packaging

We'll show you examples of artwork that's currently selling the best on our websites so you know what kind of style to replicate and we'll also be giving you ideas for the artwork to be created as well as providing guidance every step of the way.

You'll sometimes be given a quote that needs to be turned into a full-blown art piece.

You'll sometimes be given reference images that need to be turned into canvas art pieces.

We'll ALWAYS give you detailed outlines of what to create as well as the references for our current best-selling artwork so you have plenty of references of what styles are going to convert the best for us.

Here's what I'm looking for in someone for this position:

- Ridiculously good at graphic design. Like you look at other designers and feel sorry for them because you know that they can't even touch the quality of your work

- FAST design. I need quick turnaround times for everything so that we get shit done fast

- EXCELLENT communication. I CANNOT have long periods where I don't hear back from you or where it's hard to get in touch. We need to be in communication constantly so we're both on the same page

-EXCELLENT English. YOU WILL NEED TO BE ON THE PHONE SOMETIMES so you need to have a solid grasp of the English language, be able to speak and understand English well

- NOT AFRAID to ask questions. I am always here if you have questions

- NOT AFRAID to make mistakes. I WILL NOT GET MAD at you if you make ---------- just means we have some practice to do! If you make a mistake, we'll just set up a system to make sure it doesn't get repeated. Simple as that!

- EYE FOR DESIGN. The primary focus here is going to be art that's hanging up on people's walls that is bold and grabs attention so your style needs to match that as well as being a design that is CLEAN

- DOES WELL under pressure. Relaxed. Doesn't freak out about lots of work or tight timelines. Enjoys the job, likes working, likes designing, likes contributing to something bigger than yourself

- Knows Adobe Photoshop AND Adobe Illustrator

- Has a fast internet connection

- Has a Facebook and Skype account (or are willing to create them, both free)
