WordPress Web Developer

We are looking for a freelance/part time web developer to add to our team! We are seeking a full-stack WordPress PHP developer with experience writing custom themes and plug-ins. The candidate should also have a passion for clean, performant code.

Job Responsibilities:

* Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize plugins and themes for our external customers
* Ensure code meets internal quality expectations and is compliant with WordPress code standards
* Expert in the following languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, jQuery
* Communicate during the project on Slack daily (Very important)
* Must be able to code in a mobile responsive format
* Convert PSD to WordPress template (We use Genesis Framework, Beaver Builder, Oxygen)
* Must have experience developing WordPress plugins
* Must be able to troubleshoot problems, issues, and conflicts with WordPress
* Experience with website speed optimization
* Experience testing code across browsers and operating systems to ensure correct rendering / graceful degradation in browsers that lack feature support
