Full Time Virtual Assistant For Online Crafts Website | General VA

Hi there! I’m Ariana and I run a UK based online crochet business called Crafting Happiness, including a website, a youtube channel and online shops.

I'm looking for a full-time (40hrs) virtual assistant that can help me with day to day general running of my crochet ---------- prior crochet knowledge is required but you must know good English (written and spoken) and be available for Skype calls on a weekly basis to discuss tasks.

Training on the job provided and every task will be explained, this is a great opportunity for entry-level VAs. You must be willing to learn, be loyal and honest..

Most of the work is done on your own time, but you must leave a couple of hours every day to work with me, especially at the beginning. My working hours are 9Am - 5PM weekdays.

What I require from you:
- You MUST write and understand English, I can't teach you if you can't understand me
- High attention to details is a MUST
- Replying back to my messages in a timely manner is a MUST
- Asking questions if you are not sure how to do something is a MUST
- must be available for Skype calls on a regular basis to discuss tasks

- Great work ethic, loyal, reliable, ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision

- Computer savvy
- Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines
- Analytical and organizational skills, there will be a lot of spreadsheets to keep track of and complete
- A strong desire to continuously learn new things and develop new skills


I need you to have at least some basic experience using the tools and platforms below, but I will also show you and train you on each task:
- Social media (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram)
- Asana
- Google docs/sheets
- Canva & Photo editing is a MUST
- Tailwind
- WordPress blogging
- Basic video editing (adding images and text to videos)

Required office equipment
- Home office (not working from coffee shops, malls or anything like that)
- A good, fast computer
- Webcam and speakers
- High-speed internet connection
- Mobile phone internet preferred so I can contact you when I need to
- Skype

Tasks you will be required to do:
- You need to be able to do Skype calls with me and discuss various projects on a weekly basis, this is a MUST
- Distribute and schedule content on various platforms (such as Facebook groups, Pinterest, Instagram, etc)
- Add/remove text and links to blog posts in Wordpress and YouTube videos
- Basic photo editing ( removing background etc)
- Basic video editing (we use WeVideo which is an online service)
- creating Pinterest pins from templates in Canva
- Managing the weekly giveaway and polls on Facebook & Instagram
- Basic research on different subjects
- Maintain google spreadsheets up to date
- Other general daily tasks (repetitive tasks)
- Daily message to update me on your progress and issues you might have.
- Some basic copywriting such as Instagram posts, Pinterest description, etc
