JOB OVERVIEW

Responsibilities:
? Assist with all internal and external HR related matters
? Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management
? Respond to human resources-related inquiries
? Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies
? Investigate complaints brought forward by employees
? Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
? Manage, update, and maintain the organization’s employee database and prepare reports
? Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
? Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary
? Monitor employee morale and company culture
? Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures
? Recommend strategies to motivate employees
? Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
? Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
? Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice as well as employment law and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:
? Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Psychology, Human Resources or Organizational Management
? At least 1 year of work experience as an HR Generalist, ideally in a BPO setting
? Above average communication skills in written and spoken English, with excellent business writing, facilitation and coaching skills
? Possess good communication and interpersonal skills in understanding, interpreting, and effectively communicating procedures, policies, information, ideas and instructions
? Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations
? Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
? Excellent record keeping skills.
? Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
? Excellent planning and organizational ability to identify priorities and manage time effectively
? Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, must be self-directed and able to follow through*
? Ability to maintain confidentiality
