PET Recycling Quality Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Apply, develop, and maintain quality assurance practices, which will enable the factory to meet and exceed, desired quality standards.
• Monitor quality assurance activities in the Laboratory to determine conformance with authorized procedures and good practices, and to make corrections and improvements as may be necessary.
• Cooperate with production department to make sure quality procedures are followed.
• Directs all activities of the laboratory in the analyses of raw materials, finished products, in-process, and product development samples.
• Analyse data to ensure results are within specifications or tolerances and make decisions regarding release of product for production use.
• Develops and implements corrective actions to support continuous improvement activities in the company.
• Maintain laboratory environment in a manner consistent with Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
• Conduct product and equipment inspections to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Conduct in Process product and finished product reviews, to determine compliance to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Knowledge/Familiarity working in a Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulated environment with associate Product/Consumer Safety requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in industrial chemistry or related filed laboratory discipline is required.
• Five+ years of experience in PET recycling quality control/assurance.
• Professional communication skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues.
• Ability to operate computer-based instrumentation.
• Project management and leadership experience a plus.
