JOB OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
The Content Marketing Assistant is responsible for the development and management of content across all
channels. The person in this role will develop compelling content and identify creative ways to repurpose various
content for marketing purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
? Repurpose existing content into compelling social media posts intended to educate and to drive engagement
and growth
? Create original graphics (on brand) in Canva for social media posts
? Manage the distribution of content across all channels
? Loading approved social content into Later and schedule accordingly
? Writing blog posts and email copy
? Formatting blog posts in Wordpress, inserting opt-in forms, and working through post-finalization checklist
? Ensure content (including blog posts, email promotions, and social media) is always complete at least
2-weeks ahead of publish date

REQUIREMENTS
? Experience writing compelling social media content and repurposing content
? Experience working with Canva, Wordpress, Later, ActiveCampaign, and GSuite, preferred
? Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, digital advertising and social media marketing
Creative writer and storyteller. Your writing doesn’t feel like marketing
? Comfortable and even excited about data and spreadsheets - our content is based around numbers and
tech, so if these topics don’t excite you, this role is probably not for you.
? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and solid project management abilities
? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize to manage competing demands
? Advanced grammar and copy-editing skills
