Customer Service / Technical Support

Electronic instrument distributor seeks candidate for Technician / Customer Service ---------- ndidate must have excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities, and should be customer focused and convey a friendly and helpful attitude. Position requires extensive use of computers and candidate should be comfortable and fast with computer usage. Must be detail oriented and organized. Electronics or science background, or interest in science/electronics is a plus.


Tasks include:

-Answering or finding the answers to customer questions about the product, and finding solutions to customer needs or problems

-Continually increase knowledge of products and applications through training and self-learning

-Accurately process orders and quotes via phone, fax, and email

-Answering customer emails and phone calls

-Create reports
