Hi Proposective Candidate

I'm thrilled that you decided to look at this job posting and I'd love to give you a little more information about the role that we have and the skills that we are looking for.

So firstly, we're a UK based video production company and we've recently branched into the world of consultation and training. Our aim is actually not to do as much production of video content for our clients but rather making our own content to help our clients with their own video production. What we're aiming to do is create the following content, a lot of which we hope you'll be able to help us with:

- Educational Content for our YouTube Channel
- Educational Content for our online courses
- Social media content such as Video Ads and Posts on sites such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc
- Some overflow client work from our production side

Our aim is to be putting out weekly content for all these channels. We'll still be recording the content and simply forwarding files to you for editing. It's important that you have a decent to fast internet connection as we'll require you to download video files to work with - we'll be sending low-res proxy files so should make this process a little easier. Ideally having a well-equipped PC or MAC will greatly help your speed and the video editing process.

We've realised that whilst we have the necessary skills to do all of this ourselves, it simply isn't possible to manage it all with our current time constraints and that's where we hope you can come in and help us achieve our goals.

We need someone with a similar drive and ambition as we have. Someone prepared to work to a high level of quality and not cut corners in production. Ideally, the successful person will be able to manage their own time and various projects effectively to ensure you meet requested deadlines. We also need someone who can use their initiative and make creative decisions but also have the ability and confidence to back up those decisions if asked to. The candidate needs to have a solid understanding of video editing and relevant professional terminology. They need to have knowledge of using DaVinci Resolve as this is the system that we use (We also have a DaVinci Resolve Certified Trainer in our team so we can help you increase your knowledge of this platform as part of your employment). If you know Premiere Pro then that would also be helpful, especially if not familiar with DaVinci Resolve.

To recap, if you're able to meet these criteria then we'd love to hear from you:

- Be a phenomenal communicator (English needs to be of a good to outstanding level) able to naturally converse with your team leader
- An awesome video editor with experience in creating content of high quality and knowledge of systems mentioned above
- If you have knowledge and skills in other types of media creation and editing such as photography, motion graphics, animation then that would be a huge bonus.
- Able to work initially between 20 - 40 hrs per week
- Willing to learn and adapt to processes as instructed
- Accountable and trustworthy

We're offering an excellent rate for the work involved and believe that as the successful candidate grows in their role so will their level of remuneration. We will review the employment after the first 3 months of working together and at this time can renegotiate the rate if applicable.
