Bookeeper
The bookeeper position prepares and processes financial transactions and creates financial reports from that information. The bookkeeper also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy.
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system;
Prepare, process, issue, and maintain records of all financial and billing transactions including Statements of Accounts, Purchase Orders, Cash Vouchers, Cheques, Invoices, etc...;
Analyze and Reconcile account transactions;
Collect sales taxes from clients for remittance to the government;
Ensure that receivables are collected promptly;
Manage and maintain the petty cash fund;
Process budget requests;
Record cash receipts and make bank deposits;
Prepare Monthly Management and Volume reports;
Provide information to the external accountant who creates the company’s financial statements;
Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit;
Provide other clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
