Graphic Designer and Marketing Expert

Position Summary

Position will be a highly motivated, highly skilled, confident Graphic Designer with an impeccable eye for layout and an obsessive attention to detail. The ideal candidate would take great pride in displaying a consistent level of quality, top-tier design with TIGHT deadlines. This position will produce visual solutions to the communication needs of our Internal & External customers, using a mix of creative skills.

Essential Functions

• Excellent English
• Experienced in design, layout, typography, etc. for corporate branding, advertising design, web design and digital media
• Design/creative conceptions of print, presentation and marketing tools such as: brochures, flyers, catalogues, posters, banners, ongoing marketing campaigns, etc.

Creative copy writing

• Assemble files to meet prepress and print production specifications and timelines.
• Graphic maintenance on existing designs to reflect current marketing needs.
• Organize and maintain files with artwork database of all artworks per specific customers and accounts.
• Experience in contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief, along with using innovation to redefine a brief.
• Collaborate and communicate with vendors and customers as needed.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to multi-task and shift between projects on a time-sensitive basis.
• Keen eye for detail with ability to communicate daily with progress report on daily activities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Willingness to take direction
• Must be able to present ideas and creativeness
• Experience with Adobe Dreamweaver and or/HTML 4.01 knowledge is an asset
• Proofreading all layouts, great problem solving skills; being resourceful
• Understanding of technical information: FTP management and File management
• Confident and versatile
• Experience Constant Contact, Icontact or email based services would be an asset.
• Website design very desirable.


Qualifications – Education & Experience
• Superior skill-set in Graphic Design demonstrating advanced knowledge of current design techniques
2 – 3 years experience
• University or College educated or equivalent in related field
• Excellent computer skills: Software Requirements: Advanced applied knowledge in recent versions of Adobe Photoshop and other Creative Suite products: including, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash
• Accomplished illustrator with an artistic background and skill set would be a huge asset
• Applicant MUST possess a portfolio of recent work.
• Videography and video editing experience very helpful
