JOB OVERVIEW

Main duties: inventory planning and shipment arrangements

INTRO:
We are an e-commerce company looking for an ambitious assistant to join our dynamic team for long-term employment. Your key responsibilities will include being responsible for overall activities related to the company’s inventory planning, ordering and distribution. Experience with e-commerce and Amazon specifically will be necessary.

Salary will be determined based on experience.

We are an e-commerce company that has been in business for over 10 years. We sell physical products in the baby products niche with a concentration on party supplies. The brand we are hiring for is a team of 10 high-achievers with the team size growing rapidly every few months, there will be plenty of growth opportunities for you within the company.

ABOUT THE JOB:
The ideal candidate for this position can work well and be trusted without much supervision. The individual must be humble, loyal, hard-working and genuinely enjoy having a leading role within our team. Responding to tasks assigned in a timely manner is key. We would like you to have semi-flexible hours, so we can schedule weekly calls in different time zones. Lastly, you must have AMAZING American English.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in (American) English
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and G-suite applications (Google Docs, Google Spreadsheet)
- Sufficient amount of experience to be self-sustained in managing all logistical operations including ocean freight shipment, inland shipment and inventory planning
- Experience preparing documentation for customs will be valued but not required
- Ability to reconcile product received versus expected
- Ability to maintain good relationships with all partnerships and coordinate with all relevant personnel, such as transportation carrier, forwarder, and custom brokers
- Great problem-solving ability as well as organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Open to constant learning and mentorship
- Self-starter with the ability to set and meet objectives and work independently as well as part of a team
- Highly sensitive to confidentiality for all company products, operations, activities, plans. For example, unreleased product information, product designs, pricing strategies and business ---------- SIRED SKILLS (preferred but not required):
- Experience preparing documentation for customs
- Experience using Ecomdash
