Young America Trading Co. was established in May 2013. Yes, a fairly young company just like what the name says. This company is one of our newer companies, specializes in the distribution, import/export as well as retail activities of high quality products range from Home & Garden, Health & Beauty and Grocery & Gourmet Food. We distribute our products through our e-commerce websites as well as third party platforms, such as Amazon and eBay. We are now moving into the wholesale sector and also working on a plan to expand into Amazon UK & Europe.

JOB SCOPE

1. Create interesting blog post
2. Create newsletters
3. Prepare press release for product launch
4. Craft site promotion content
5. Craft social media content
6. Craft product description
7. Craft infographics
8. Craft video, audio, slideshow content
9. Organize data
10. Assist sales & marketing team in creating content for promotional print materials
11. Work with a cross-departmental team, maintain and develop the master content calendar for all web properties
12. Track and report on all site metrics

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

~ THE BIG FIVE ~

1. VERY RELIABLE & FAST Internet Connection, no downtime and has no problem doing video conference calls with the team. MUST have a backup source.
2. VERY Detail-oriented! It's important that your content is proof read before submission for review.
3. VERY GOOD SENSE in engaging readers. We don't like boring, robotic written work.
4. VERY GOOD at selling through words. You need to know how to convert potential buyers to customers through writing.
5. WILLING TO WORK IN USA EASTERN TIME. Able to work 40 hours/week.

~ OTHER IMPORTANT SKILLS ~

1. Creative mind with exceptional communication and organizational skills
2. Has SEO knowledge. If you know all the SEO rules and have used Market Samurai, it will be a plus.
3. Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems
4. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
5. Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
6. Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
7. Experience managing content and production for high traffic websites
8. Ability to prepare video, audio, slideshow content
9. Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field
10. Have a great knowledge in all areas that we stated above. If you have experience with Mailchimp, it will be a plus.
