Design Engineer (Stamping Tool)

Job Description
• Design of new tooling from conceptual to detailed completion
• Modify designs based on any engineering changes
• Share information about design to Sales / Marketing for preliminary quotes
• Follow up on new project and FAI assembly
• Responsible for the product design and development process
• Involved in the downtime improvement of existing products
• Estimate Tool life maintenance cycle

• Provide feedback on customer enquiry

• Coordinating the finalization , review & monitoring of technical specification ,quality , cost & time targets for new projects


Education Level
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical.

• Experienced in Solidwork and Autocad software

Skill & Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in stamping tool design or related field.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to details on design

• Able to cooperate with a team of production engineers, supervisors, Technicians and Operators

• Familiar in ISO9001:2008 QMS, ISO14001:2004 EMS,ISO/TS16949 certification and compliance.

• Good communication and presentation skills.
