Expert Level Bookkeeper with Amazon Experience

We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeper to calculate current profit and loss to date and to provide support for our Amazon business from a remote location. Someone with in-depth knowledge and experience in handling tasks related to managing Amazon sales, FBA fees, and such.



RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must have experience with UK Payroll, UK VAT Filing. Please don’t apply if you don’t understand this!
• Experience working as a Bookkeeper for an Amazon agency or Amazon seller a BONUS!
• Customizing reports using Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets. Present the report to the executive team and review each and every transaction including subscriptions.
• Execute the month-end close process producing accurate and timely financial statements.
• Correct data-entries via Xero and articulate the reasoning behind categorization.
• Communicate and coordinate with Company's CPA to execute strategies presented and file taxes before the deadline and/or file for extensions.
• Summarize payables (credit cards, banking, net terms, etc.) and strategically make payment plans and organize the data.
• Coordinate with the Logistics team to garner accurate Inventory Valuation.
• Making reports with our daily profit and loss with information pulled from various sources
• Prepares monthly financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Update and maintain accounting software.
• Maintains historical records by digitally filing documents.




REQUIRED SKILLS


- Experience with Amazon sales, FBA fees, etc (A MUST)
- At least 1-year experience in bookkeeping or accounting work
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience with utilizing Quickbooks Online & Xero (or at least one)
- Ability to create forecasts and projections of sales
- Ability to investigate things and navigate through transactions - reconciling data
- VAT filing and knowledge (UK VAT) is a big Bonus
- Sales Tax USA is also a Bonus
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy when completing accounts
