We are hiring a Bookkeeper for a permanent and full-time
This is a remote position so the successful applicant needs to be equipped with the proper system to support a non-interrupted 8-hr shift.
A high level of trust will be placed on this person so honesty and consistency are important.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Month-end close - completion of journals, accruals, ledgers
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation - cross-check statements, documentations, ledgers
- Cash Flow Management - budget preparation, job costings
- Inventory Reconciliation - cross-checking factory stocks vs accounting software
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS Returns, Payroll Tax, Withholding Tax
- Journal and Data Entry - invoicing, track expenses, update records
- Income Statement Preparation - forecasted vs actuals variance analysis
- Sales Reporting and Employee Incentive Calculation
- Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
- Other tasks may be given as the need arise
Job Requirements and Competencies:
- Advanced MS EXCEL skills
- Experience in XERO Accounting system
- AU Tax knowledge is preferred
- Construction industry experience is beneficial
- Aptitude for mathematics and analytics
- Great communication skills
