Westt is looking for a junior Full Stack Software Developer with particular expertise in Worpdress to help build the next version of our e-commerce. More importantly, to integrate all software in our company in order to automatise our operations as much
as possible.
Westt is already live on 10+ marketplaces and our international e-commerce with sales all over ---------- w it is about scaling the platform, adding more new cool features and making our backend rock solid and automatic.

You’ll be joining a startup entering its growth phase with a freshly closed funding round. The first few weeks/months will be very intense, busy and challenging with great learning opportunities, as you’ll need to master our existing code and work on our current website.

RESPONSIBILITIES, AMONG OTHERS, INCLUDE:
? Take over the maintenance of Wordpress from our IT agency. Learn, maintain and own the code very quickly.
? Build landing pages, integrate them with SQL databases and API connection to other external tools
? Be in charge of automatizing all aspects of the business that should be automatic (e.g. email workflows, sales orders, Linnworks integration, logistics fulfilment, …).
? In charge of Zapier, ftp/CSV integrations and API integrations
? Help with digital marketing workflows and tasks (e.g. Manychat, PPC automatization, etc.)
? Managing and developing multiple API and feed integrations across all company’s platforms.
? Ensure company technical challenges are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
? Build and maintain a clean user-friendly e-commerce, including user journey, marketing friendly design and integrations.
? Gate keeper of our project management tool (ClickUp), helping maintaining consistency across the team and automatizing any workflow possible.
? Integrating our woocommerce store with other marketplaces
? Work directly with our management to improve our platform and propose new IT projects (e.g. mobile app). If you create value for the business you will have more tasks, we want you to open our eyes.

IDEAL PROFILE
? Professional experience with Woocommerce
? Sharp mind and pragmatic problem solver
? Proven track record of IT projects
? Knowledge in e-commerce business is desired, B2C experience/mindset
? Passion for platforms integrations (APIs) and automatisation
? Fast learner, challenge taker, logical thinker and a great problem solver.

REQUIREMENTS
? You speak English fluently
? +3 years of professional Woocommerce experience
? Strong desire to work for an early stage startup and contribute at a high level
? Educated at Bachelor Degree level as a minimum, preferably in IT / Development
? Excellent Backend + Frontend Skills
? Working experience with HTML5, CSS and at least one modern Javascript framework
? Working experience with at least one Backend Framework (RoR, Laravel, etc)
? Ability to self-manage your workload and no hesitation about raising concerns or ideas to management
? Deep and broad hands-on
? Evaluates new technology and makes recommendations on technological solutions.
? Experience with datastores like MySQL and similar
? Experience integrating backends and software tools withs API

NICE TO HAVES
? Experience with Ecommerce / Online Shopping sites is a huge plus.
? Interest and experience in digital marketing (PPC, SEO, …)
? Experience with PHP
? Experience with company ERP (e.g. Odoo, Dynamics, …)
? Ability to lead development efforts if necessary
? Basic understanding of Network architecture and servers
? Experience with API integration of platforms
? Command of any other language and an international spirit
