Booking Agent

Job Summary

Reports to the sales supervisor and is responsible for selling various frozen meat pork, chicken, and beef products directly to wet market stalls in the territory assigned. Collecting cash and check payments from customers will also be needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales

Present, promote, and sell products to existing and prospective wet market customers
Establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Prepare and submits customer sales orders to operations in a timely manner
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
Keep-up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in the market and supply management with market information, item pricing, customer needs, problems, competitor activities, and possible new products
Coordinate sales efforts within team members and other departments
Performs other sales tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Credit and Collection

Obtaining on-time cash and check deposit and balance of payment from clients
Resolving discrepancies in invoices and balances
Answer client questions regarding credit terms and collection processes
Performs other credit and collection tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Job Specifications

Bachelor's degree of any course
Competency in MS office applications and internet messaging applications
Must have at least one year relevant work experience in sales of fast moving consumer goods or frozen meat
Must be able to ride a motorcycle
Must be comfortable working in going to various wet market locations at different times of the day
Experience in selling to informal businesses like wet market stalls, sari-sari stores, small meat shops, and backyard processors a huge plus
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
Must be an effective communicator at all levels of the organization
Strong ethics and high level of personal integrity
Detail-oriented
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced and high pressure environment
