Wordpress Technical Developer for USA-Based Web Design Company

We're a boutique digital agency focusing on Natural Food, Health and Sustainability businesses, building websites for over ten years based in Fairfax, CA, USA.

We need a dedicated Website Technical Developer to be a part of our team and work with great clients and fun projects.

When hired, you will work directly with the founder of the company in managing mission-critical web development tasks. Help us build a next generation platform for managing a fleet of professional Wordpress client websites.

What your average day might look like:
* Regular email and Skype check-ins with company founder
* Customizing Wordpress CSS, HTML and PHP for new client sites
* Manage, monitor and optimize fleet of client Wordpress websites
* Setup a testing website instance
* Administrator hosting control panel
* Setup Wordpress page and menus according to a sitemap document
* Internet research tasks, researching and testing plugins
* Suggest ways to enhance and optimize Wordpress websites

* Organized and resourceful.
* Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Superb skills on the internet; ability to leap to multiple sites with lightning speed.
* Skype, Google Docs and Basecamp help too!
* Writing, editing and formatting skills are a plus.
* A self- motivated, self- starter, self-assured, selfless attitude.
* A high sense of urgency and multitasking skills.
* Be flexible and open to change.
* Have your own up to date computer or laptop with high speed internet, a working computer camera and microphone
* Distraction free work space.
* Able to manage your own time carefully, be organized, and pay attention to detail.

This is a full time position, 40+ hours per week.
* Must be available Monday-Saturday, although hours can be flexible.
