we’re goumikids – a four year old, portland, or based startup on a mission to improve the lives of those around us – locally & globally. It starts with our products, making beautiful baby essentials that work and then, it’s giving to efforts that make life better for our fellow moms, babies & planet.
our product lineup of beautiful baby essentials that work include goumimitts, goumiboots, & goumihats. each product is smartly designed to be functionally best-in class in their categories, modern & elemental in aesthetic and consciously sourced and produced to have minimal impact to our planet.
within four years of launching our products, they have been stocked by the most reputable specialty retailers and online partners in the US (over 500 specialty boutiques & Nordstroms) & 29 other countries worldwide (UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Japan, etc).
we call our giving back effort, goumigiving. we've been actively contributing a portion of our proceeds since we began in 2010 to efforts that protect our children and invest in improving the lives of girls globally. from our hometown, to india and to the philippines, we’ve been partnering with local organization that actively engage in fighting human trafficking.

who we’re looking for:
lead generation specialist
role summary:
we need a dynamic, eager-to learn, self-starter who is willing to work hard at helping generate sales leads to meet our sales targets.
this role will support our senior sales managers in the execution of sales plans to grow our revenue both in new accounts and in our existing customer base in the US market.
the right person for this role will be someone who is focused on winning, accountable for their goals, driven with a strong, proactive work ethic, and able to thrive within a startup environment.
responsibilities:
• Outbound
work with senior sales manager to build a list of prospects through internet & database research
utilize multiple tools – email, phone and other tactics to generate leads for internal sales team to close
Ongoing email & phone campaigns to check in with existing account base for reorders
Manage prospects list and ensure its continuously updated
Provide additional sales support for senior sales manager
• Inbound
Send any inbound leads to internal sales team to close
Manage existing customer base list and ensure its continuously updated
