Webmaster in Wordpress

I’m seeking a highly-skilled, experienced webmaster for a part-time job of 10-20 hours per week. This is a temporary assignment, but it could lead to a permanent position, if I find someone I could collaborate with to rebrand my art-related business.

The first assignment would be to redesign an existing website in Wordpress, ensuring that the website is functional, user-friendly, visually pleasing, and up-to-date.

The candidate should have the skills and experience necessary to:
• Redesign an existing website in Wordpress.
• Perform all necessary updates.
• Remove old plug-ins and unused themes.
• Repair broken links and fix any reported bugs.
• Add a shopping cart and e-commerce function.
• Update content to reflect current SEO trends.
• Set up a Mail Chimp email function.
• Set up a backup server.

The successful candidate will be:
• An excellent communicator who is proactive with questions and suggestions.
• Reliable.
• Capable of utilizing web content management systems, such as WordPress.
• Knowledgeable in programming languages and operating systems.
• A detail oriented problem solver.
