Writer + Customer Service

We are looking for a writer to:
- write press releases (at least 1 per day)
- write blogs (at least 2 per day)
- comment on customer reviews/ feedback
- copywriting skills and writing advertisements will be a definite bonus
- there may be more and you should be open to different types of writing assignments.

We do require you to be punctual on your writing assignments. We will give you enough time to get the work done but it will be your responsibility to get the work done by deadline. Failure to do so will result in a short working relationship.

You need to be a good writer.
- no plagiarism
- no spelling or grammar errors. Good command of English is essential.
- you will need to be able to change your style of writing, on command. For example, writing a template/ letter to a customer would need to be more casual, while a press release would require a different style.
- research, good research, is essential. Our goal is to provide valuable content. You cannot be lazy about research

We will require that you familiarize yourself with the products and the brands we represent. Fully understanding this will help you in your responses to customer feedback and product reviews.

This job is also for a customer service representative. Occasionally we get emails from customers. Sometimes it's just to comment, sometimes it's to ask a question. Since you will already be familiar with the products/ brands we represent, you will be required to respond but this is a small percentage of your role. Still, you will need to be friendly and represent us in a kind, caring, understanding, friendly manner and do whatever it takes to keep or make the customer happy. If this is not your personality, do not apply for this job. YOU WILL BE VETTED so keep that in mind before you respond. We will ask for examples - not of your old work, but of new work. I have marked this job as part time because I think we would need you approximately 4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
