The Online Content Manager will be responsible for maintaining and updating our inventory on the different online platforms we participate in. This position will play a key role, as the organization transition to online, furthering grow our operations. The Online Content Manager will assist in getting products online, and handling requests, for them when able. Some of the Platforms we are on include,
Skills and Qualifications
- English; written and conversational
- Asset but not required; Korean language conversational
- Graphic design (basic) (required to clean up images and modify images)
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialization Certification From UC Davis or equivalent
- The Strategy of Content Marketing Certification from UC Davis or equivalent
Responsibilities
With our assistant:
- Perform regular website content management and develop improvements aimed at increasing the organization’s online presence and supporting our sales growth.
- Ensure that all new website content is effectively integrated. This includes videos, graphics and digital media, as well as bridge pages.
- Ensure web/social content is visual, easy to scan, engaging, intuitive and user friendly.
- Proofread and edit written content prior to publication to ensure quality.
- Work with us to create a publication schedule to ensure new website/social content is submitted to keep us fresh and relevant online.
- Post-digital marketing materials and work with us to run new campaigns in terms of creating content for said materials.
Experience
- Expertise with web content management systems.
- Experience with all key social media platforms (e.g.
- Willing to manage and post product content to
- Experience with Gimp, Inkscape.
- This position very much works independently, and you will need to be able to shift work if needed. If you need help always ask, if you don’t get an answer soon, move on to other work.
- Creative minds and detail-oriented with an eye for copyediting, visual formatting and version control across all platforms.
- You will need to be very organized and have used past SMM to manage posts.
- Creating online bridge pages in WordPress is an asset but not required.

- We expect a reference later from a registered company in the west along with resume.
- The 20 hrs work week, will be flexible and you can work on your time.
- Show past work, in content editing, and managing past sites.
- In the future, there will be a position to full time for those willing to show initiative.
- We do have a web developer to work on key issues you report.
