We currently manage large datasets, over 100 million records of consumer and business records and we're are looking for a Experienced Database Administrator to help us with the maintenance and improvements.

The system runs data-counts and build lists against those ---------- rmation includes geographic, industry, sic codes, job titles, and more to filter by.
We're looking for someone who can be more familiar with other database technologies which could be a better fit for our datasets. Making sure to get counts quicker and more real-time.
We have looked into elasticsearch in the past but did not have the time to see if it would be a good fit.

Qualifications:
- Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
- Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
- Good understanding of database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
- PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail

Role and Responsibilities:
> Review existing database structures for our datasets:
- Improve query performance/optimize queries used. We interface with the database using PHP.
- Optimize MySQL configuration. ---------- f config,, datatypes, mysql versions.
> Clean up datasets:
- Fix data fields that have mistakes, such as data in wrong columns, or remove bad records from the datasets.
- Adding new data to our datasets
