WORDPRESS WEB DEVELOPER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Web Developer who is proficient in WordPress theme development and has a strong sense of the modern web. The ideal candidate knows HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Jquery and PHP like the back of their hand and can take a design from PSD’s to WordPress site. The developer will have a strong sense of design. This position will start as a part time position with an opportunity for full time employment.

Requirements:

2-3 years experience in website development, specifically WordPress theme development
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, Jquery, Javascript, PHP, Responsive development.
Portfolio of WordPress websites to reference

Ability to multitask on multiple projects at once
Able to manage projects from conception to completion with minimal supervision
Detail oriented, strong with testing and revisions (cross browser / cross device etc.)
Strong understanding of design principles (type, color, layout, composition)

What you will do:

Develop WordPress themes from PSD’s (working closely with design team).
Develop all interactive features, responsive development etc.
Populate content in to CMS and/or templates.
Code pages in accordance of effective SEO practices.
Write clean semantic code.
Make us and our clients happy.
