JOB OVERVIEW

Hi there :-)

We're looking to expand our Shopify e-commerce team with a graphic designer who has a passion to design visuals and content for our various social media channels, blogs, products, ads, flyers, and other communication pieces and perhaps even print on demand products (POD) such as T-Shirts and much more.

You are a skilled graphic designer knowing the fundamentals of good design. You are using InDesign and/or Photoshop but are also ready or very skilled in using Canva, as it is our preference when creating eye-catching images with compelling messages. Keep in mind that we are always excited to work with talent that is hungry to constantly learn to expand their skills.

Your English is pretty amazing as we will have much to communicate ;-)

You might be using these apps already as our team needs to use them all the time:

- Canva.com
- Trello (https://trello.com/guide)
- Slack
- Grammerly.com
- Duolingo.com
- Zoom.com
- Skype.com
- WhatsApp

If you're new to these apps, download and catch up on how to use them by reading their blogs. Trello will be especially important as it is our central task, knowledge, tools, and communication hub.

We'll discuss your hours and hourly fee on a call together and suggest starting at USD 400.00 to test the waters and increase your occupational hours depending on your availability and capabilities. We’ll pay you weekly using Time Proof for the first month and monthly thereafter via EasyPay (PayPal/Payoneer).

If you're interested in working with us after checking out our ---------- shop (and please do), please reply to our questions between the lines below, rather then via email, for efficiency and speed.

- What is your hourly desired rate?
- How much money are you looking to make per month?
- Do you already have another job? If so, where are you working and how many hours are you working?
- What are your hopes & aspirations? Would you like to learn new things or expand on another passion? Please elaborate.
- Have you worked for foreign employers before?
- How long have you been applying your skills?
- What tools do you use?
- If we were to give you more work, which type of skills could you offer?
- Please send me a link to your onlinejobs.ph profile.
- Please send me three references/reviews of prior clients /links and example links of your best work.
- Please write a paragraph about why I should hire you. Don’t send a list of your experience; describe it to me.
- When would you be available to start work?
- Do you have your own computer and Internet access? If you have access, how fast is your connection? (Important for occasional Skype calls).
- From 1 (low) - 10 (high) how would you rate your English speaking and writing skills? (We highly recommend taking the tests OnlineJobs offers as it increases your chances to get hired).
- Will you work from home or from an Internet café (focus & background noise)?
- Where do you live in the Philippines?
- Do you take directions well, are you coachable and hungry to learn more?
Great, we can’t wait to hear from you and learn from you as well. We'd like to encourage you to ask us all your questions to clear up your expectations. We’re here to help, guide, and educate when needed. Please answer the above questions within this messaging system, as it speeds up our processing. We will respond here to get you started as soon as ---------- eers, Ken

P.S. We highly recommend taking as many skill rating tests on the OnlineJobs portal to help us better understand your skills, as we find it very important to give you work you’re passionate about and naturally an expert at. We also like to tell everyone about how fun and easy it is to increase their English writing and speaking skills with the amazing free DuoLingo App. They also offer a great English test. Check it out here: ----------
