WEBSITE CONTENT MANAGER

We are looking for a dynamic, reliable, and self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content management, writing and editing for the web, and other content related tasks.

This role will be responsible in developing the voice for all aspects of our sites’ online presence. In addition to writing, proofreading, and optimizing unique site content for search engines, the content manager will also need to work closely with the development team to maintain website standards.

He will also be tasked in creating site promotions, email newsletters, and in planning social media content along with the Social Media expert. Effective communication skills are needed for this post as you will be constantly working with and updating the team.

Responsibilities
? Create, develop and manage unique content (including but not limited to Privacy/Terms Pages, About Us, metadescriptions, etc.) for the websites’ online presence.
? Oversee and coordinate with content editors and other entities that provide articles to the site.
? Work cooperatively with team members, and assists them in implementing content strategy.
? Ensures content adheres to established standards. Check that the submitted articles are unique and pass Copyscape (or a similar plagiarism checking tool).
? Copyedit and proofread all web content before uploading to the site.
? Codes and scripts uploaded content in the company’s websites.
? Assists in analyzing websites to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.


Required

? Bachelor’s degree in areas related to Computer Science, Management Information Systems,
Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field.
? 2-3 Years of website content management or similar experience
? Knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with popular content management systems (Drupal, Wordpress, etc.)
? Stable Internet connection and reliable computer/laptop (with an updated anti-virus installed).
? Strong interpersonal communication skills. Can clearly and proactively communicate with team members.
? Excellent written and verbal English skills
? SEO knowledge for article optimization is a huge plus
? Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
? Resourceful, team player, high energy and flexible.

Working hours will be from Monday-Saturday, 9pm to 7am EST (with a 1 hour meal break).
