My Filipina Girlfriend is married to a Korean man. He says he will file for divorce in Korea in July without her involvement and it should take 3 to 4 months to finalise. I am also a Lawyer in Australia (but I am out of work at the moment) and have checked the Law regarding recognition of Foreign Divorce.
I am looking for a Filipino Attorney in Manila to handle this matter for a reasonable fee as my budget is limited. I marriage was registered in Quezon City.
Please feel free to submit your offers and also provide an estimate of how long the process will take in the Philippines once the divorce in Korea is finalised.
I am happy to commission the services of someone now so they can start preparing the case for filing and representation.
