I'm looking for an awesome SEO writer, preferably one with agency experience and a working knowledge of Ahrefs and SurferSEO.
You should feel confident in your ability to do the upfront keyword research, then write long-form niche content based on that research.
This includes considering what has already been published, and internal linking between blog posts and other pages, thereby signaling to Google which pieces of content are more important (pillar content) and which are supporting content (siloing).
You will need to develop a Content Strategy/Road Map that you will use to write high-quality, authoritative content for onsite posts, update and optimize older content, and secure topical guest posts with dofollow backlinks from sites with a 30+ DA rating and real traffic.
The Content Strategy/Road Map would include the following structure:
Week 1: Analysis. Analyze my ecommerce website and produce a report that highlights the current SEO
Week 2: Revamp Phase. Based on the week 1 analysis, update and optimize old blog posts to improve rankings. 2 blog post updates per week until all needed optimizations are made.
Week 3: New Content Phase. Based on the week 1 analysis, identify long tail keywords and create new content accordingly. The target should be 1 blog post per week, ideally 2,000 words per post, or 2 smaller posts if it makes sense for those keywords. Post needs to be SEO optimized and complete with internal linking to support the silo structure already in place.
Ongoing: Find new guest post opportunities, and write appropriate content with dofollow links. At the beginning of the month, prepare a report of the work completed, including a type of Rank Tracker so that I can track our progress and upward climbing rankings.
The niche is electric bikes, so the topics you will be researching and writing about include bike riding in the US, important things to know about ebikes, and how ebikes and exercise can improve the health and happiness of the target Baby Boomer audience.
Do not apply if you do not have a strong understanding of SEO.
Do not apply if you want to be given topics to write. You will be responsible for coming up with the topics as part of the keyword research you do..
Lastly, if you reply to this job post, I want to know what your favorite color is. If you don't tell me I will see you didn't read all the way through and your application will be deleted.
Thank You
Steve
