Full-Stack Python Developer

I am looking for a Full-Time (40hrs/wk) Full-Stack Python Developer who has experience with Python, Celery, Django, VirtualEnv, PostgreSQL, and EmberJS. This job is for a 3-6 month contract with opportunities to extend beyond that.

To qualify for the technical requirements you must enjoy building website applications and be good at:

- Writing and debugging HTML / CSS / JavaScript
- Writing and debugging API connected web forms
- Converting business requirements into testable Python modules
- Writing clean Git commit messages and participating in PR reviews
- Self guided research and discovery for new codebases

To qualify for the scheduling requirements you must be able to commit to two types of regular meeting events:

- Daily Status: We catch up every day with a 15-minute progress report
- Weekly Review: We end every week with a 1-hour review/planning session

To qualify for the collaboration requirements you must be able to:

- Use Slack for normal daily communications
- Use Trello for project planning and task management
- Use Github for source code management and code reviews

To qualify for the aptitude requirements you must be able to:

- Manage your time, our scheduled meetings are fixed, but the rest of your day is up to you
- Manage your priorities, reach out when you’re stuck, move to the next task if you’re sitting
- Communicate clearly, organize your thoughts so that our conversations are not repeated

Bonus points if you also have Java, Node.js, Redis, and/or Docker experience.
