Wordpress Developer/Designer

Hello!

We are an Ireland based Web & Graphic Design firm with many clients and we're looking for some help!

We need a part time (4 hrs a day) PHP Web Developer / WordPress Developer - which will very quickly turn to a full time position. This position does not need to be strong in web & graphic design (as we have team members for this), but rather the coding side of the ball.

Responsibilities include designing and building the interface, navigation and aesthetic of the website, building advertising spaces, client pages, client logins, reporting for clients (monthly/weekly numbers), integrations to CRMs and REAXML feeds from CRM systems.

The right candidate should be well versed in:

- Web coding - specifically PHP
- WordPress - someone who knows the ins and outs of it. Also, knows about plugins and can even develop plugins for our clients or take apart code from existing plugins and create new plugins for us.
- Able to create custom website applications from scratch if need be for larger, custom projects
- Build and develop E-commerce websites
- Knowledgeable about web hosting - specifically Cloudways. We manage around 200 websites and you will be counted on to help make sure all of these sites run smooth sometimes (for example if a site gets hacked, you are able to help fix it)
- a good understanding of SEO (we have a SEO team, but just aware of that)
-Conducting website performance tests.
-Wordpress + Astra Themes + Elementor (Beaver Builder + Divi are a plus)

- A self starter - able to work without much direction and find tasks to do each day (of course we will help there!)


To ensure success as a WordPress Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress Developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications.
