This is a great opportunity to work in a growing 3PL Logistics Company.

Adelante Logistics is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Logistics Account Manager/Freight broker and offers a position for aspiring sales professionals. As an emerging logistics firm, Adelante Logistics is devoted to building our business with our sales efforts. We are looking for an individual that has a drive to succeed in sales. MAIN Duties AND Functions:
Build a portfolio of clients by actively researching and seeking out prospects via sales calls, emails and networking activities
Engage prospective clients throughout calling and Provide clients customized solutions to transportation and logistics needs
Act as the liaison between the client, carrier, shipper and receiver
Develop solid relationships with clients by providing them with excellent customer service
Negotiate fair rates with both your clients and carriers
Manage the movement of the client’s goods, ensuring that they are picked up and delivered on time to the client’s satisfaction
Consult with clients to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
Identify, manage and build new business relationship in the target market
Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners and vendors
Tracking the tenders, Cost Estimating, prepare freight quotations to clients
Work with CRM and manage customer relationships and entering data into CRM software
Work quickly and effectively to resolve problems that may develop on a freight shipment
Coordinate prospect, sales and work closely with Growth & Innovation
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, skills, ABILITIES, and PERSONAL attributes:
Proven track record with a strong focus on account management, online presentation and meeting with customers, pricing, proposals through to 'closing the deal'
2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics field is preferred
High degree of telephone etiquette, confidence and professionalism in interacting with customers and carrier partner
College or university degree in Marketing or Business-related field is required
Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals is an asset
Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability
Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well
Ability to use digital technology to support his or her daily work activities, including word processing, file management software, communications software (e.g. MS Outlook)

Be open minded about learning new sales techniques and strategy
Persistent and aggressive and don’t take “no” for an answer
Strong work ethic and a fast learner
Effective negotiation skills and knowledge of the art of persuasion
Have the ability to be self-motivated and self-directed with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills and you must have the ability to multitask
Knowledge of LTL, partial, and TL operations
Geographical understanding of the continental US and Canada
Industry Expertise (Transportation industry knowledge, including key terminology; and, general knowledge of primary customer industries)

Job Type: FULL TIME Permanent Position 8:00 am - 5:30 pm (MON TO Friday) EST
Salary: $ ---------- based on interview results.
Bonuses: You’ll have an opportunity to earn bonuses for every booked client/load
which is a $35 bonus per each new client and 2% shipped and completed load.
All payments including bonuses would be done via PayPal/Bank Deposit twice a month.
