Marketing Assistant - Travel Niche

Hello...and thank you for taking the time to read my job posting. I am looking to hire a marketing assistant for my travel agency.

A little about my business. My name is Andrea and I am the owner of my travel agency. We are US based out of Florida. Disney is our largest supplier, but we also work with cruise lines, resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, and a little Europe. You can view more about my agency at ---------- .

My target market is women who are 25-40 and our content is written in a fresh and fun manner. Our speciality is family travel but we also do romance bookings (adults only trips). Please be able to match our writing style!

* So who I am looking for?

I am looking for an assistant who is dependable, able to complete tasks on time, creative, detail oriented, and has a love of travel. Grammar and English writing skills are VERY important. Please know that completing tasks on time is VERY important to me. If I give a deadline it is imperative that it is met. A lot of our content is time sensitive and needs shared in a timely manner based on what is going on in the world of travel.

The work schedule for this position is flexible as long as deadlines are met on time.

* What tasks will I be doing?

1. Create and schedule out social media content on our Facebook page.
2. Post and fully manage a travel feature account on Instagram. Goal right now is to grow the audience.
3. Post blogs on our website and schedule out shares of these on our social media platforms (Facebook and ---------- ).
4. Create graphics for said social media and blog posts.
5. Create short (less than 30 seconds) travel related videos to share on Facebook.
6. Optimize blog posts for SEO
7. Set up email sequences inside Mail Chimp
8. Create flyers and PDFs for us to share with our clients

I will be able to provide content (photos, videos to work with, copy for blogs), links to sources, etc. I need someone to put it all together, make it look good, and get it posted for me with the goal of growing our audience.

Platforms that you need to be familiar with are: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Mail Chimp and WordPress.
