Introduction to Single Handed
Single Handed launched in January 2020 and started trading in May. Single Handed Ltd launched a new product, the Tipsi Tray on Kickstarter and successfully raised over £25,000 to go into production.
We are working on 6 more products with a view to Kickstarter launches to move to amazon and B2B sales in distribution. We also aim to move into the camping/adventure sectors with our next products.
We are a forward thinking design focussed brand who design products to make everyone's life easier. Single Handed are based in the UK with a registered address in Southampton but much of the work is carried out remotely.
Single Handed currently has 1 employee in business admin and social media and we are looking to take on more roles as we grow.
Job Description
Single Handed are looking for a hard working, self driven representative who can help increase our B2B worldwide sales and open up new marketplaces. Primary focus should be on outreach, prospecting and lead qualification.
We are also looking for someone who can research and help to open up new marketplaces such as TV shopping.
Role and responsibilities
Distribution Outreach
Since the Kickstarter campaign finished we have had considerable interest from retailers, wholesalers and distributors. A key role would be reaching out to worldwide distributors to advertise our range of products to. This will involve manual data collection, finding linkedin contacts and tracking down the right people at the right businesses.
Relationship Development
Developing strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers and retailers worldwide. Encouraging repeat custom.
Sales and Territory Monitoring
Analytical and detailed monitoring of worldwide sales as well as stock management in collaboration with other staff
Secondary to Distribution we are looking to sell the Tipsi Tray and future products on tv shopping channels. A key role would be to research and contact the relevant parties to promote our products to.
Close reporting to the Director
Keeping in close contact with Robert Simpson the Director and reporting back on new
Key requirements (qualifications and skills)
Good knowledge of distribution processes.
Excellent communication and english skills.
Proactive and forward thinking. Wanting to drive the business forwards.
