Real Estate Bookkeeper for a Real Estate Investment Company
We are a growing Real Estate Investment Company and we are seeking a motivated, hard working, full-time bookkeeper.
Our growth requires us to add a full-time professional to our team. You are responsible for the daily bookkeeping operations of various properties and
YOU MUST HAVE SUBSTANTIAL EXPERIENCE IN QuickBooks Online in order to quality for this position, including reconciliations, P&L's, cost segregation and more.
Primary Responsibilities (other duties or special projects may be assigned):
~ Manage monthly accounting cycles, payables & receivables
~ Review Rent roll and Gross Potential Rent and record adjustment
~ Month-end closing process and post recurring Journal Entries
~ Document issues and resolution for procedure guidance and help to improve the process
~ Assembly of necessary reports and information as needed
~ Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts
~ Monitor sub-contractor bids and draw requests
~ Entering bills, checks and applying customer payments
~ Reconciling Credit Card accounts and making journal entries
~ Scanning and filing documents in a paperless office
Desired Skills and Experience
~ Associates Accounting Degree
~ Four years of QuickBooks experience with receivables, payables and payroll processing
~ Knowledge of property management and accounting software a plus
~ Proficiency in Google Docs/Sheets
~ Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
~ High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
~ Strong analytical and organizational skills
~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
~ Deadline-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
~ Knowledge of construction draw process is a plus.
