Part Graphic/Web-Design, Part Site-Development, Part Site-Management

I seek someone with the skills to build and manage blog & cms sites (there is one site to begin with). The person I seek will demonstrate the ability to:

- apply decent design skills (take my UI concepts, color pallet ideas and such and actually make them look decent - i suck at this part ;-)

- organize Post-content in different, custom ways, including:
--- apply different page-templates to different Categories (being displayed as menu items).
--- remove posting dates from select Categories (being displayed as menu items), thus allowing me to custom order posts.
--- creating a Q&A page that is separate from Article-categories, allowing Q&A posts to take place independent of Blog/article posts.

- Create custom landing page with custom layout.

- Install hover-over video in stylish, but high performing manners. This includes formatting, or reformatting the media to fit the requirement, while maintaining quality.

- Imbedding video in other unique ways, while maintaining quality and page speed/performance.


I will provide a simple wireframe-test for finalists after applying.

Re Type of Employment: I chose the "Freelance / Short Term" option, however there will be ongoing projects and maintenance work for the right candidate once a good working relationship is established.
