E-commerce Website Designer & Developer

We are looking for. graphic designer with knowledge in CSS to upgrade our existing website. We run a Shopify store in the kitchen/home and living niche particularly focusing in the US, UK, CA, and AUS markets. We are looking to amp up the branding of our store and upgrade the quality of the design/flow of the pages.

We have the Home Page and Product Detail Page designs ready for development, but the supporting pages will need to be designed based on it. Your job description will include the entire process of defining requirements for the rest of the pages, visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, layouts, photo editing to developing the designs.
You’ll also be the one to shape the visual aspects of our social media channels.

Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.

Requirements
Experience with e-commerce design
Knowledge of how to integrate your designs into a Shopify theme including modifying CSS is a MUST.
Proven graphic designing experience
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Knowledge in editing videos is a plus

Work Scope;

1. Creation of relevant Social Media banners to keep branding consistency throughout
2. Propose Improvements on the Info Architecture of the key pages (from UX, and Designer's POV).
3. Apply concepts/designs into the Shopify store directly (should be able to make custom tweaks so we will not be limited by the theme that we're currently using).
4. Work upon some custom CSS changes for some of the apps we have integrated into our store when the need arises.

The position will start with a fully paid full-time 1week trial period, to see how well you can manage our social media profiles.
