Shopify Web Developer / Graphic / UX/UI Designer (Shopify)

We are on the lookout for a talented Shopify Developer to join our ---------- this role, you'll help maintain and optimize our Shopify eCommerce site. You'll create killer front-end work and custom, highly-converting Shopify storefronts. You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where passion for great experiences leads all design and development. You are a quick learner, love solving problems and are passionate about writing code you're proud of.

What you'll do:
Design and development for Shopify+ including: web design, front-end development, UX/UI strategy, and conversion optimization.
Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning websites using HTML/CSS/JS/Liquid
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using software development best practices
Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Follow industry best practices
Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
Continuously look for ways to improve conversion rates and implement A/B tests

Who you are:
Experience with Shopify websites and content management systems
Shopify development experience, including building custom themes and features from scratch as well as heavy modification to existing elements
Demonstrated mastery of HTML, XML, CSS/SCSS & Java
Experience using JS libraries (jQuery, react)
Proficient in integrating dynamic content solutions with AJAX or API Services
Well-versed in version control systems (git, beanstalk). Experience working with a CMSA solid portfolio of quality, hand-coded responsive web projects (github, codepen, etc.)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related ---------- ep understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills
A passion for front-end architecture as well as driven attitude towards learning new web technologies
A knack for creating captivating user experiences through todays leading technology stacks
Generate new ideas to help improve user experience, mobile experience, and conversion rates
Monitor industry trends and relevant competitor insights.
